JetBlue Premier Card rolls out new cardholder benefits


New benefits are coming to the JetBlue Premier Card, the New York-based carrier’s premium credit card option.

These perks include an elite status boost toward JetBlue Mosaic status, the ability to unlock statement credits toward a companion pass and an elevated redemption rebate when you redeem JetBlue TrueBlue points.

The JetBlue Premier Card debuted in 2025 as an option for JetBlue loyalists and charges a $499 annual fee. Here’s what you need to know about these new and enhanced perks.

New JetBlue Premier Card benefits

If you hold the JetBlue Premier Card (or apply for it soon), here are the new benefits you’ll receive:

  • Elite status boost: Cardholders receive 25 Tiles toward Mosaic elite status at the beginning of each calendar year. This will put you halfway to entry-level Mosaic 1 status, which includes a free checked bag, preferred seating and a Mosaic point bonus, among other perks.
  • JetBlue Premier Companion Pass statement credit: Unlock a companion pass worth up to $500 after spending $15,000 on your card in a calendar year. Plus, unlock an additional companion pass worth up to $1,500 after spending $75,000 in a calendar year.
  • Elevated redemption rebate: Cardholders receive 15% of their TrueBlue points back on award flight redemptions when flying JetBlue or a partner airline. This is an enhanced perk; previously, cardholders received a 10% rebate.

These perks are especially useful for JetBlue loyalists who are pursuing status or frequently spend on their card.

Are the new perks worth it?

If you enjoy redeeming TrueBlue points for JetBlue flights or traveling with its partners, the elevated redemption rate on the JetBlue Premier Card is a highlight. It also matches Delta Air Lines’ TakeOff 15 benefit for most of its cardholders.

The 25-Tile bonus will also be helpful for those interested in the perks of Mosaic status, and it’s nice that you aren’t required to make purchases with your card to receive it.

If you plan to spend at least $15,000 on your JetBlue Premier Card in a calendar year, the ability to earn a companion pass is exciting. However, it may be hard for many spenders to reach that $75,000 spending threshold for the higher-value companion pass.
