Kacey Musgraves thinks she witnessed something unexplainable in the night sky.
The 37-year-old country singer uploaded a series of videos to her Instagram Story on Friday (April 10) chronicling a flight she took from Fort Worth, Texas, to Nashville, Tenn. and the mysterious orbs she spotted in the sky.
She starts the first video saying she just had the “craziest” “UFO experience,” and that she’s seen “many crazy things” in her life, things she can’t explain.
“I’m a noticer, I’m always noticing things,” Kacey said.

She said she was about to take a nap when she noticed three orbs in the sky, about 50,000 feet in the air.
“They were not moving like any craft we control,” the “Happy & Sad” singer said.
Then she showed a few videos that she took from her iPhone 17 while flying, in them, she used arrows and a circle to point out the orbs that appear to move quickly, change size, and form triangle patterns.
Kacey said the orbs followed the plane and when she and her manager asked the pilots about it, they said, “Yeah, we’ve seen these every single night and all the other pilots are seeing them, too. Nobody knows what they are.”
The orbs have also been spotted in New York and Dallas.
Later on, Kacey uploaded a few new videos pushing back against people who were saying the orbs were likely to be drones, satellites, or maybe StarLink.
She said they weren’t, as she’s seen those before and it wasn’t the same.
The orbs were “actually really big, they were just far, far away. They traveled hundreds of miles,” she explained.
“Humans have been seeing strange things like this for centuries,” she added.
