Donald Trump is continuing to post religious imagery linking him to Jesus Christ.

On Wednesday (April 15), the 79-year-old president took to social media to share yet another AI-generated image of himself that connected him to the son of God in the Christian faith.

This time, he shared a message that he said was meant to target the “Radical Left Lunatics.” However, it comes after he upset a subset of his MAGA base earlier this week by posting and then deleting an image that seemingly depicted him as Jesus performing a miracle.

The president’s latest religious post on Truth Social was a meme of himself getting a hug from Jesus.

“I was never a very religious man,” the meme reads, “but doesn’t it seem , with all these satanic , demonic , child sacrificing monsters being exposed … that’s God might be playing his Trump card !”

He paired the post with a message reading, “The Radical Left Lunatics might not like this, but I think it is quite nice!!! President DJT”

While Trump is seemingly trying to upset Democrats, he actually insulted a subset of his base earlier this week by posting the photo of himself wearing a white robe and holding his hand over a man who appeared to be in a hospital bed. Amid backlash, he promptly deleted the post and implied that he thought it reimagined him as a doctor.

“I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor, and had to do with the Red Cross, as a Red Cross worker there, which we support,” he said as an excuse.

However, he was quick to blast an ally who implied that he lacked “humility” for sharing the post in the first place.

Trump has increasingly drawn comparisons between himself and Jesus recently, even revealing two things that he thought he had in common with the religious figure.
