Jason Lewis‘ return to the spotlight is continuing with a new campaign Spiked Pop, a hard soda from female-founded ready-to-drink brand Owl’s Brew.
The 54-year-old actor, best known for playing Smith Jerrod in Sex and The City, took a break from the public eye amid his move to Costa Rica a few years ago.
Jason returned to social media last week to reveal that he’s been working on a fantasy book series made up of nine novels. Now, he’s putting his signature muscles on display for the Spiked Pop campaign.
@theowlsbrew THE HUNK IS BACK and he’s drinking Spiked Pop. Introducing Spiked Pop by Owl’s Brew Hard soda, done clean. Nostalgic soda flavors, made with ingredients that do more than taste good. Use code THEHUNKISBACK for 20% off. #SpikedPop #HardSodaDoneClean #DrinkWise #Ad ? original sound – The Owls Brew
Jason says in the campaign video, “It’s been a minute since the, uh, tasteful billboards and the few late-night episodes you may have seen. A lot’s still the same. Still photograph well. Back to doing campaigns.”
At the end, he says, “If you like the outside, wait till you find out what’s on the inside. A new era for the hunk is here. The city’s looking better already.”

In an interview with People, Jason explained why he decided to partner with the brand.
“They presented well and it was a really cute idea,” he said. “And I was planning to come back to social media anyway, and I thought this was a really fun and lovely way to participate.”
He enjoyed the references to Sex and the City, saying, “Look, if you can’t laugh at yourself, then you haven’t really grown. So I liked it. I thought that they had put some good thought into it and it was a clever idea.”
Spiked Pop, which has 110 calories per 12oz can, comes in seven flavors: Watermelon Lime, The Doc, Pineapple Dew, Cream Soda, Black Cherry, Strawberry Hibiscus and Lemon Lime. The drink is available at Whole Foods, Erewhon, Trader Joe’s, Target, Sprouts, Total Wine & More, BevMo!, Ralphs, and many more top national retailers
