Taylor Swift is already making history with her new Toy Story 5 song.
The superstar singer’s latest release, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” shattered streaming records across multiple platforms within its first day of release, per The Wrap.
Spotify announced that the track became the most-streamed country song by a female artist in a single day in the platform’s history.
Apple Music also revealed that it set the service’s all-time record for the biggest soundtrack single by first-day streams and became its biggest country song debut of 2026.
Amazon Music reported that the song earned the platform’s largest 24-hour streaming debut for any song globally this year.
Taylor also released a music video for the track, which includes footage tied to Jessie, the beloved cowgirl character from the Toy Story franchise.
Speaking about the song on Instagram, Taylor said, “Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time.”
She added, “Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a Toy Story kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.”
“I Knew It, I Knew You” will be featured in Toy Story 5, which arrives in theaters on June 19. Watch the trailer!
