New disturbing details have emerged in the investigation of singer D4vd and how he allegedly mistreated Celeste Rivas, 14.
On Monday (April 20), the 21-year-old, whose real name is David Burke, was charged with her murder and he could be facing the death penalty.
According to documents obtained by The New York Post, D4vid may have committed the crime of continuous sexual abuse “who did unlawfully engage in three and more acts of ‘substantial sexual conduct,’” to Celeste when she was possibly as young as 12 years old.

The documents say that the crimes would likely have occurred on or between September 2023 and September 2024. And the documents accuse him of murdering Celeste “on or about April 23, 2025,” which would have been shortly after she was reported missing, but months before her mutilated remains were found in the trunk of a Tesla belonging to D4vd.
LA County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said he murdered Celeste out of fear an investigation into their sexual relationship would ruin his career.
“Let us be clear — the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death. There has been no indictment returned by any grand jury in this case and no criminal complaint filed,” his attorneys Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski, and Regina Peter said at the time of his arrest. “David has only been detained under suspicion. We will vigorously defend David’s innocence.”
