Ms. Rachel, aka Rachel Accurso, has been using her platform to help children for years, and she’s now speaking out with some disappointment towards some celebrities.
She shared a Change.org petition on her platform titled, “Close Dilley ICE Detention Center: Protect Children.”

Ms. Rachel wrote on Threads, “I’m disappointed that so many celebrities were contacted to sign our petition literally just to not put kids in immigration detention centers that we know harm them – and many said no. I am grateful to the ones who signed 🥹 I’m extremely grateful to YOU for signing.❤️🩹”
Ms. Rachel did not name which celebrities refused. At the time of this posting, the petition has over 237,000 signatures.

Here, she’s referring to: Mark Ruffalo, Ilana Glazer, Hannah Einbinder, Cynthia Nixon, Susan Sarandon, lawyer and Martin Luther King Jr.‘s daughter Bernice King, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Raffi, librarian and media influencer Mychal Threets, Mandy Patinkin, Ben & Jerry’s Ben Cohen, Alyssa Milano, Kaitlin Becker, and Nicola Coughlan.
