Lindsie Chrisley Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI – She Speaks Out!

Lindsie Chrisley has been arrested in Georgia.

According to TMZ, over the weekend Todd Chrisley‘s estranged daughter got into some trouble with the cops. Around 10:25 p.m., Lindsie was taken into custody at the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. According to the Cherokee County Jail, she was arrested on suspicion of DUI less safe, attempting to elude police, improper passing, reckless driving, and speeding.

In case you’re not aware, the “less safe” part in Georgia means a person can be charged with a DUI even if their blood alcohol level is below the 0.08%. But what even happened?

According to what Lindsie herself told the outlet, she said she was trying not to hit an animal in the road:

“I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was.”

She also revealed she’s going to “fight the charge” because she doesn’t think it was right.

By 4:15 a.m. the same night she was booked, per her records, Lindsie bailed out. The jail confirmed she owed $1,355 for the DUI less safe, $680 for the improper passing, $565 for the reckless driving, and $2,006 for speeding. This made a grand total of $4,604.

This news comes just weeks after her boyfriend, David Landsman, was booked into the Cherokee County Jail himself for aggravated assault-strangulation.
