Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka have been spotted on the set of The White Lotus season four!

The actors were seen shooting scenes at the Cannes Film Festival location alongside director Mike White. They were spotted leaving the movie theater and walking down the nearly-empty steps on Tuesday (May 26) in Cannes, France.

While Alexander and AJ were both spotted in their red carpet outfits, Mike, who is only working behind the camera, was wearing a t-shirt and shorts.

We also have a lot of photos featuring more actors filming a scene on the Cannes Film Festival stairs. It looks like some characters in the film will be playing people involved in a movie premiering at the festival.

Usually, only the cast and crew of a movie are given the opportunity to pose together at the top of the stairs while others are shooed away.

Several more cast members were just added to the star-studded lineup for season four.

Season four is unique in that it’s centering around a real-life event: the Cannes Film Festival. This season will follow guests at the fictional hotel near the film festival in France.

Variety reports that this is the basic premise for the new season: “In Cannes, two rival film teams descend upon the Cannes Film Festival with movies in competition and something to prove. One camps out at a flashy, palatial hotel on the Croisette, while the other is ensconced in a luxurious hilltop hideaway.”
