If you don’t see a Promo Rewards option on your desired travel date, look at surrounding dates for a price that matches the Promo Rewards rate.

Once you find a flight you’d like to book, select it and follow the onscreen prompts to complete your reservation. If you plan to transfer credit card rewards to book a flight, make sure you find award space first; then, place your ticket on hold and transfer your points or miles.

Also, be sure to check your transferable rewards accounts to see if any transfer bonuses are available.

How to earn Flying Blue miles

Boosting your Flying Blue balance is easy because the program partners with major programs that have transferable points and miles.

You can transfer rewards at a 1:1 ratio from American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt, Capital One, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Citi ThankYou Rewards, Rove and Wells Fargo Rewards. You can also transfer Marriott Bonvoy points at a 3:1 ratio, with a 5,000-mile bonus for every 60,000 points you transfer.

Based on our tests, Amex, Bilt, Capital One, Chase, Citi and Wells Fargo transfers should post almost instantly. However, our test transfer from Marriott took three days to arrive in our Flying Blue account.

TPG has not tested Rove transfer times. Because of this, points and miles from the other providers listed are your best bet if you hope to book right away.

Best credit cards to book Flying Blue award flights

We recommend using a card that earns bonus rewards on airfare purchases to pay the taxes and fees on your award ticket. Some of the best cards include:

Bottom line

Few sales are as reliable as the Promo Rewards we see each month from Air France-KLM Flying Blue. Best of all, boosting your Flying Blue balance is easy since the program partners with all major transferable rewards programs.

Python Partial Function – Table of Content

Python partial function

A partial function is one of the tools in the Functools module. ‘Functools’ is a module provided by python for higher-order functions, i.e., act on or return other functions. ‘Functools’ contains tools for functional-style programming.

Partial functions help in calling another function with the positional arguments (args) and keyword arguments (keywords). We can fix some values in certain arguments.We can create new functions without having to replicate the body of the original function.

Creating a partial function

Let us create a partial function that calculates the cube roots of the given numbers.

from functools import partial

#Create a function

def exponent(a,b):

return a ** b

#Create a partial function that calculates cube roots

result = partial(exponent,3)

print(result(4))

The first function is for defining exponent arguments. The second function ‘result’ is created for fixing the value ‘3’ in the arguments to send to the main function – exponent. The output for the above program will be 81. If you want to generate square roots of given numbers, you can just replace the value ‘3’ with ‘2’ in the result partial function.

Here is one more program which performs multiplication of different numbers.

from functools import partial

def expression(a,b,c,d):

return a*2 + b*3 + c*4 + d

result = partial(expression,5,6,7)

print(result(10))

The output for this program will be 66.
