Lena Dunham has seen all the chatter about her rumored speech at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding festivities!
As you know, the couple held an intimate rehearsal dinner at the Infosys Theater inside Madison Square Garden on Thursday night, one day before they said I do. Only 100 guests attended the gathering, including Lena. And according to Dailymail.com, the pop star’s longtime best friend even gave a speech at the rehearsal dinner, one that ruffled some feathers!
The Girls creator joked at one point during the speech that “American football is just straight guys reenacting gay porn.” And she said this in front of a few NFL stars, including Travis, too! Ha! Lena’s remark reportedly “divided” guests, who reacted with “gasps and laughs,” and it became the biggest talk of the night! And while some were not pleased about the joke, you know who loved it? The bride! An insider revealed Taylor thought Lena was a “genuis” after her speech!

As long as the bride is happy, that’s what matters at the end of the day! And yet fans still have a lot to say about the comment, with some calling it “inappropriate” given the audience at the dinner! See the reactions (below):

The 40-year-old actress has since reacted to the report and criticisms. Lena took to Instagram on Sunday to post a bunch of pictures from the wedding weekend while poking fun at the rumors with a caption that read:
“Available going forward for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and sweet sixteens (gay ones). I love both my husbands and I love love”
