The Florida man accused of killing his politician wife, Nancy Bowen, has been arrested and charged with her murder, according to court records.
Cops say Stephen Bowen was taken into custody Wednesday after his wife, Nancy, was found dead inside their home during a police wellness check.
Stephen was booked into the Broward County Jail for premeditated murder and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. He also posed for a mugshot in which he appears stone-faced.
Police have not released details about what led up to the murder except to call it an act of domestic violence … but TMZ has made inquiries and will update you once we get more info.
As for Nancy, she was an up-and-coming Democratic politician and the current vice mayor and commissioner of Coral Springs. She was also planning a run for Congress in Florida.
I’m in shock. I was just with her on Saturday. She just buried her brother. She was about to announce she was running for Congress. Nancy was one of the nicest people I worked with. Always fighting for her community, always pushing to help. She had such a future. This is terrible https://t.co/rjWaFneQN7
