Buckle up, y’all — because this is about to get intense.
Lamar Odom recently went on the YouTube interview show Nothing’s Off The Table and sat down for more than an hour with its host, Louis Ruggiero, to talk about everything in the former NBA superstar’s life. From his basketball career, to his battle with addiction, and his recovery — and, yes, Lamar’s relationship with Khloé Kardashian — nothing went uncovered.

Interestingly, although the show aired on YT a couple weeks ago, it was more or less missed by mainstream media outlets. Until now, that is. We resurfaced it this week, and we’ve got a LOT to share with you about it.
So, most notably, during the interview, Odom tells one harrowing and never-before-heard tale about him cheating on the KUWTK star back when they were married, and how the infidelity led to Lamar’s first-ever attempt at rehab.
Whoa!
During the episode, Lamar revealed the cheating story when it came time to discuss the beginning of his rehab journey and long path toward eventually getting sober:
“My first stint in rehab was because she [Khloé] took me to the rehab. My dumbass, I’m hanging out with this girl — and this is while I’m married — like, you know, the addict brain is f**king bananas. So, I’m married to her [Khloé], and I know this girl, and the girl is like, ‘let’s go up to Big Bear.’ But I’m married, you know what I mean? She knows I’m married, I know I’m married, the whole f**king world knows I’m married. F**k am I just gonna go up to Big Bear? Was it a weekday? It had to be the summertime, on a weekday.”
He continued:
“I go to Big Bear. Wife can’t find me, she’s looking for me. And I’m getting so high on my way up there to Big Bear, sniffing, and snorting, I don’t know if I was smoking or off a 40 or whatever the f**k it was, but the girl must have been scared to death. I must have dozed off. She calls my phone, and lets my wife know where we’re going to be at. First, she lets my wife know obviously what I’m doing.”
And then, he pulled out the HUGE shocker — Kris Jenner‘s unexpected arrival!!
Lamar recalled how Kris popped up out of nowhere and began the rehab process:
“I get back to the girl’s house, I put some coke on the table, I’m sniffing a line, and I just see a head coming around the corner, and a lady says, ‘Lammy!’ And it was their mother [Kris]. I remember, I was f**ked up. They took me right to San Diego. There were like six SUVs outside, because I’m doing drugs, and they probably don’t know what they are going to run into. But there were like six SUVs outside, no bull s**t, and they were trying to protect me. They took me right to a rehab in San Diego. No questions asked. I had to go. And that was my first stint in rehab.”
Damn…
Elsewhere in the interview, the former University of Rhode Island basketball star cleared the air about an infamous comment regarding whether he had gotten with Khloé merely for clout.
The comment, which Lamar attributed to a mis-spoken remark in the doc in which it first appeared, was an accusation about how Lamar supposedly married Khloé to remain relevant in the public eye as his basketball career wound down, and all that. But not so, he says now! The former hooper cleared the air, explaining:
“That never came out of my mouth. I think that was my kids, or whoever they were interviewing at the time. … I didn’t really need more clout. I had one of these [an NBA championship ring]. I’m playing with the best player of my generation [Kobe Bryant]. It [the relationship with Khloé] just fit. And sometimes, when things fit so well, the average person can’t even understand, or can’t even grasp it. … but when I met Khloé, so many things just fit naturally.”
Well then! That really ought to clear things up about clout, and about how tight the bond was between Lamar and Khloé… when things were going well, at least.
You can watch Lamar’s full interview with Ruggiero (below), including lots more on Khloé, addiction, overdose, rehab, recovery, and — at the very end of the episode — a really ominous aside about sports gambling:
Wow.
Like we said, it’s all a lot.
