Robert Irwin and mom Terri Irwin step out for the 2026 Steve Irwin Gala on Saturday (May 2) at the Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
The mother and son duo attended the annual event to celebrate the late Steve Irwin‘s legacy and support their Wildlife Warriors charity at the fundraising event.
They were also joined by Robert‘s DWTS competitors Danielle Fishel and Jordan Chiles, as well as his season 34 winning partner Witney Carson, with her husband Carson McAllister and their sons Jet, 5, and Leo, almost 3. DWTS music director Ray Chew also stepped out.
While attending the gala, Terri and Robert shared on update on how his sister Bindi is doing with her health – she has been battling endometriosis for over a decade.
“Bindi is doing so much better now,” Terri told E! News. “So, things like a lot of travel are a bit challenging for her at the moment and so she’ll be here next year to celebrate this wonderful night.”
“This year she’s just staying a little close to home,” she continued. “So, ironically, it’s less taxing for her to be home feeding crocodiles.”
Robert added that it’s easier for Bindi to be home at Australia Zoo than to travel a lot.
“You gotta remember [in] Australia Zoo there’s 500 in our team,” he said. “There’s about 500,000 acres of conservation land that we have. Someone’s got to hold down the fort. So, Bindi’s doing a great job at that.”
Robert and Witney, Danielle and Jordan have all made appearances on the DWTS Live Tour recently.
