Travis Kelce & Prince William Reminisce About THAT Unexpected Meeting At Taylor Swift’s London Concert!

Talk about a backstage moment that nobody is forgetting!

Even after all this time, Travis Kelce and big bro Jason Kelce are still laughing about the day they found themselves face-to-face with actual royalty thanks to Taylor Swift‘s blockbuster Eras Tour. And now, they’re spilling even more behind-the-scenes details straight from the source!

On Friday’s episode of the New Heights podcast — which, oh by the way, was released on the very same day Taylor and Travis got hitched — Prince William joined the Kelce brothers for a conversation that quickly turned into a trip down memory lane.

See, the trio couldn’t help but revisit that unforgettable backstage meeting at Taylor’s London concert back in June 2024, when William attended the Wembley Stadium show with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Looking back on that surreal encounter on the most recent episode of the brothers’ podcast, Travis couldn’t hide how much the moment still means to him, saying:

“That was honestly one of the coolest moments ever, was meeting you and the little ones that day.”

Aww!

The Kansas City Chiefs superstar admitted that despite performing in front of massive crowds and playing in the NFL‘s biggest games, meeting the Prince of Wales was enough to make him nervous:

“Me and Jason joke about it all the time. We were so nervous to meet you guys and the royal family.”

We kind of love hearing that! Because if Travis can get starstruck, there’s hope for the rest of us!

And apparently there was one hilarious problem neither brother has managed to live down. Travis explained:

“And Jason has this running joke where he didn’t know what to do with his beer.”

LOLz!

As Wills laughed, Jason quickly made it clear that the whole thing was actually very real and not just a funny family story:

“You want to be respectful and know what the protocols are.”

Fair enough! Meeting royalty probably comes with a lot more pressure than meeting just about anybody else. Nobody wants to accidentally commit a royal faux pas while holding a drink!

But while the awkward beer dilemma has become legendary between the brothers, Jason revealed the real highlight of the day was getting to meet Princess Charlotte:

“I have four daughters, and she was great.”

That sweet comment prompted William to fire back with a little dad humor of his own:

“Congratulations on four daughters. I don’t know how you did that.”

Jason, who shares his daughters with wife Kylie Kelce, had the perfect response:

“Definitely a difficult task. The hardest job.”

No kidding!!!

So fun!!

Of course, like we said up top, the original meeting happened after Taylor’s London Eras Tour performance on William’s birthday, when the future king attended the show alongside George and Charlotte.

And the royal fam-bam later posed backstage with Taylor and Travis for what instantly became one of the most talked-about celebrity photos of the summer! In case you forgot about it, revisit it (below):

Now, two years later, it’s clear the experience still ranks among Travis’ favorite celebrity memories. Which is so cool!

Reactions, y’all?? Share ’em (below)!!

The memo also prevents companies from altering AI models being used by the military without prior approval.

Less than a week after signing an executive order that attempts to regulate the booming AI industry, President Trump has signed a National Security Presidential Memorandum that aims to put cutting edge AI tools into the hands of the US military. According to the memo signed on Friday, the Trump administration is establishing another framework that would “accelerate AI adoption” across a network of federal defense agencies and “adapt the best commercial and open-source technologies for mission use.”

“The men and women who defend our nation deserve the best, most secure and most reliable AI in the world, and our citizens deserve to know it is handled responsibly with the care and seriousness they expect,” Michael Kratsios, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, said on X.

More specifically, the memo said that the US government would do “rapid onboarding of the most advanced AI models from multiple vendors.” Along with the faster adoption, the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will have to issue an updated directive on autonomous weapon systems. Lastly, the memo introduces a new restriction to AI models used by the government, where “no entity, commercial or otherwise, can disable, degrade or modify an AI system that American warfighters depend on without prior approval.”

There is one limitation on the memo, though, which detailed that the US’ network of defense agencies can’t create or release an AI model that’s designed to “censor free speech, embed ideological bias or conduct unlawful surveillance against the American people.” However, the administration is still interested in influencing “frontier models” as Trump’s executive order from earlier this week would grant the US government a 30-day window to review them before a public release.
