Denise Richards Says Every Actor Should Do a Soap as She Returns to ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ After 4-Year Hiatus – Just Jared – Celebrity News and Gossip

Denise Richards is heading back to The Bold and the Beautiful.

The 55-year-old actress is set to reprise her role as Shauna Fulton in the upcoming Thursday (May 28) episode of the long-running CBS soap opera. The appearance marks Denise‘s first return to the series since 2022.

Denise recently spoke with People about stepping back into the role and why returning felt so natural.

“It’s nice to be back. It feels like I never left. It’s such a great family environment, and I love my character. She likes to cause a little trouble.”

While Denise acknowledged that it “can be very intimidating going into a set where people have working together for so long,” she said that hasn’t been her experience on The Bold and the Beautiful.

“Everyone’s just very embracing and very supportive. The actors I was working with made it so much easier to step back in.”

Denise also said she was thrilled to return alongside Darin Brooks, whose character Wyatt has a romantic history with Shauna.

“I loved that Darin was returning too,” she says. “I like that with Wyatt and Shauna, our characters, we’re light and fun, so we’ll see where we go. A lot of times we have no idea what’s going to happen too, which is so fun getting the scripts every Friday.”

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also shared why she believes every actor should spend time working in daytime television.

“Every actor should do a soap at one point or another in their career, especially if they are starting out,” she said.

“It is the best place to learn,” Denise says. “It moves fast. The pages, there’s so much dialogue and we try to do one or two takes, which can be overwhelming. I mean, if you don’t get it, you don’t get it and you have to do more takes, but you don’t want to be that person that throws the whole schedule off and make everyone be behind. It’s a very well-oiled machine.”

Denise‘s return comes as The Bold and the Beautiful continues to bring familiar faces back into the fold, giving longtime viewers another chance to catch up with some fan-favorite characters.

Open Disk 1 folder and run the setup file. A PeopleSoft Installer will open. Click on ‘Next’ to continue. Accept the terms and click on ‘Next’. You will have to enter a license code here.
