A producer for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is speaking out about a recent casting rumor.
Late last week, a blind item went out saying that longtime star Dorit Kemsley is being put on pause after nine seasons on the Bravo reality show.
The blind also says that Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, Bozoma Saint John and Rachel Zoe are all returning full time, while newbie Amanda Frances is most likely not.
However, after this rumor went out, executive producer Alex Baskin addressed Dorit‘s apparent fate.
“not true,” he simply wrote on his Instagram story on Friday (May 22), via Us Weekly.
The rumors come on the heels of the season 15 finale and three-part reunion, where Dorit continued to be at odds with Kyle and more.
Dorit first joined the show in season seven, and has been a full-time cast member ever since.
She is currently in the midst of a heated divorce with ex Paul “PK” Kemsley.
Earlier this month, he claimed that she spent nearly $1 million on luxury items while their family struggled to pay the mortgage for their home, which she recently said she would “have a response to it” soon in court.
“When you’re in litigation, you have to sort of follow the legal process,” she told Extra. “I think there will be answers to everything. When you hear one version or one narrative, there’s always another side.”
“Do I love fashion? Yes. Do I spend a lot of money on clothes, expensive clothes, designer clothes? Yes. It is my choice. It is also my money,” Dorit continued. “It’s my money that I earn, that I work for. Not his money. However, once PK and I can finish and have an agreement, what I choose to spend my money on and what he chooses to spend his money on, it’s our own choice.”
While Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has not officially been announced to be renewed for a 16th season, that seems likely. However, several other Real Housewives shows were recently renewed!
