Unexpected stars Bella Vaughn and Hunter Johnson have called off their engagement.
The reality TV couple, who became one of the youngest featured on TLC’s Unexpected, have reportedly ended their relationship less than a month after announcing their engagement and just over a year after welcoming their son, Wesley.
Bella, 16, confirmed the breakup in a TikTok video shared on Friday (May 29), according to People. The video has appeared to have since been deleted.
“This is the video I have been asked to make a million times to finally address it, and yes, we did break up,” Bella said. She added, “I won’t go into detail why, but he lied to me and hurt my feelings. … It was not a big deal, so, yeah, there was no drama, no tea behind it.”
While their romantic relationship has come to an end, Bella and Hunter reportedly plan to continue co-parenting their son together.
The split comes just weeks after Bella announced that she and Hunter had gotten engaged. On May 6, Bella shared photos showing off her ring and reflected on the couple’s relationship journey.
“From promise ring to engagement ring, I’ll forever love you hunter wesley and i can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together,” Bella wrote on TikTok at the time.
The couple welcomed Wesley in March 2025 when Bella was 15 and Hunter was 13, making them among the youngest parents ever featured on the TLC reality series.
