A new demand letter has emerged in the Nancy Guthrie disappearance case and the anonymous person claims they have video evidence of Savannah Guthrie‘s mom with her kidnapper.
TMZ received the email and was able to authenticate that it was sent by the same person who sent previous emails to the news outlet.
While the person claims they are not the same tipster who called in details about a burial site in Mexico, the person does imply that Nancy is no longer alive.
“I am not the idiot who recently called in a tip about her burial site in Mexico,” the email read.
“I have a phone stashed in a secure location guaranteeing both the information it stores and the safety of the phone,” the person said. “What it contains is my definition of delivering them on a silver platter, a short video of the main guy with nancy the day that was probably her last, pictures of both involved, names and addresses and age.”
The tipster said he’ll give the location of the phone in exchange for one Bitcoin, which is currently valued at about $59,500. He said the phone is in a “location easy to access if you know where it is.”
The news comes days after Savannah made a new on-air plea amid news that a ransom note allegedly said Nancy had passed away.
Nancy has been missing since January 31. The Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for the return of Nancy. The FBI is also offering a $100,000 reward and encouraging anyone with information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
